Fringe lillies are usually white with a yellow centre, so when I saw these cultivars I was delighted. Size-wise, the flowers are about 4cm in diameter.

This water lily was in a little brick pond near the library at Mt Coot-tha botanic gardens. There was a bee going nuts after the pollen. He barely stood still long enough to get a few shots.
